Evangelist Sherri D. Motes Jones is an ordained minister of the gospel of over 20 years. With a lineage of Evangelistic and Pastoral influences rooted in her family of origin, with her Father, Rev. Richard W. Motes, Sr, centered at the forefront, she is highly regarded in the realm of an anointed ministerial heritage with a heavy mantle falling to her, recognized by others. Her powerful testimony of resilience in the face of chaos turned “Glory to God” is second to none, including her unwavering commitment to authenticity in areas in which she has allowed God to turn turmoil into triumph through the ministry of MERGE, founded by she and her husband, Jamon Jones. From the marketplace to the ministry, Sherri has equipped others as a published author, CBS & iHeart Radio personality, Founder of several businesses to include Imagine Your Celebration, Business Over Coffee International, iShare Agency, Come Into Your Own, Professional Boost Program, Together Strong Campaign, and present day, Motes Jones & Company, alongside her husband and Co-Founder, Jamon Jones.
Sherri served as Senior Co-Pastor for eight years in Bradenton, Florida, while also fulfilling the role of Pastor of Music in a myriad of various demonizations and backgrounds throughout the span of her adult life.
Having written over 500 songs, and recorded over 100 original songs, Sherri has been coined as a progressive praise powerhouse among leaders. Her ability to preach, praise, and promote have brought collaborations in the Christian community of Gospel Recording Artists and producers to include Martha Munnizi, Vicki Yohe’, Pastor Clint Brown, Vickie Winans, Richard Smallwood, Donnie McClurkin, Wayne & Elizabeth Goodine, Pastor Charles Taylor, Brian Hardin, LaRue Howard , Jamon Jones and more. Sherri studied music and ministry under Lanny Wolfe, at Jackson College of Ministries, 1987.
